Emergency Assistance Network

The Carolina Homeless Information Network (CHIN) Emergency Assistance Network (EAN) is a complementary extension of the homeless management information system that allows homeless service providers to work together with emergency assistance providers. CHIN is currently participating in a trial with several agencies in Forsyth County to determine how to maximize resources while eliminating redundancy. Over the next few months emergency assistance agencies and the United Way of Winston-Salem will help CHIN develop screens and reports that can be used by other areas of the state.
